LinkedIn’s free new content course + 3 more updates you need to see

Digital Updates

If you’ve been wanting to expand to LinkedIn but had no idea where to start, you’ll love this week’s digital updates. We’ve seen SO MANY updates this past week so we’ve chosen the key ones you need to see for running your small biz. Let’s get into it!

LinkedIn has a new course on offer

Looking to learn a little more about LinkedIn content? We have the course for you. LinkedIn has released a brand new course, ‘Content and Creative Design’. Free to all users, this course gives the ins and outs of content creation for LinkedIn. You’ll learn how to build an organic presence and creative design tips for LinkedIn. Once you are done (it is estimated to take a couple of hours) you’ll come out with a digital certificate. You’ll catch us in this one!

Heads up Creators- Facebook Stars are expanding

Facebook is introducing a new financial incentive for creators. Facebook Stars are a virtual good that lets users show support for creators. Stars are expanding from just being used on live broadcasts to live and on-demand video. For each Star, a creator gets 1 cent from Meta. We love to see creators getting supported for their content, so we are thrilled about this one!

LinkedIn is expanding their engagement options

LinkedIn is adding a bunch of new engagement options! Some of the new engagement options include new comments on LinkedIn events and a repost option within the share menu that lets you share updates instantly without needing to share your own comment. We love the expansion of LinkedIn engagement, we’ll definitely be trying these once they are available!

Instagram is adding some mind-boggling elements to Stories

Instagram is testing some new AR elements! Some users have spotted new AR text and stickers for Stories. These new elements let you place 3D objects into real-world footage. It is only in testing so far, but these could make for some very exciting Stories in the future!

So what did you think of this week’s updates? We are SO EXCITED about these LinkedIn updates and can’t wait to start using the platform a bit more (keep an eye out for us there). That’s all for this week, we’ll be back again next week!
