POST WRITTEN BY:

Welcome to this weeks digital updates! We’ve got some exciting updates to share with you that are sure to spark your interest. From Twitter Blue’s latest features that let you play around with text formatting and post tweets up to 10,000 characters (any love a good tweetstorm?), to Instagram’s new creation flow that makes Reels a total breeze to create. Let’s not forget about Google Analytics’ brand new conversion counting method, or Meta’s expansion of its Reels monetization program. Oh, and speaking of TikTok, get this – the app is testing a new feature that lets you shop directly from within the app! Let’s dive in and explore these exciting updates!

Introducing Twitter Blue’s Latest Features

Twitter has just made a major upgrade to its platform with the release of Twitter Blue.

This new subscription allows users to utilise text formatting options and post tweets up to 10,000 characters long. We’re not entirely convinced anyone’s clamouring for longer tweets, but hey, it’s always nice to have options, right?

Instagram’s New Creation Flow Makes Reels a Breeze

IG has just made it easier to create Reels with their new Creation Flow!

Similar to TikTok’s Creative Center, with these updates, you can discover lots of fresh and exciting content ideas, check out top trending songs and hashtags on Reels, how many times the audio has been used or tap in to use it yourself.

Getting a Clearer Picture of Your Conversions

GA4 is rolling out a brand new conversion counting method that allows for better flexibility and understanding of user behaviour.

No more counting all conversions in a single session as one. Now you can choose to count conversions multiple times per session, or only once per session, depending on what works best for you.

Meta’s Latest Move to Keep Up with TikTok

Meta is expanding its Reels monetisation program to more creators.

This is all part of their grand plan to keep up with other platforms like TikTok, which have already been giving creators the chance to earn incentives. The program allows creators to earn money from short-form video content on FB and IG.

Seamless Shopping with TikTok’s Latest Feature

Word is that TikTok is apparently testing a new feature that might just change the way we shop. You’ll be able to browse and buy products right there in the app, without ever leaving!

Although it’s only available to select US retailers right now, we’re hoping it’ll roll out to more businesses soon.

We can’t wait to hear your opinions on the latest updates and discover which ones have caught your attention! Keep an eye out because next week, we’ll be exploring even more exciting digital updates that you won’t want to miss.
