Instagram has brought its A-game once again this week. From Mosseri dropping all the deets on Instagram’s algorithms (yep, plural) to a brand new Reels feature that we are sure you are going to love. And that’s not all! Meta has confirmed some big changes that have been whispered about for months, and TikTok and CapCut are closer than ever. Let’s get into it!
The Big Changes to Meta Ads
After rumours circulating for a while now, Meta has confirmed that some big changes are coming to website conversion campaigns.
Some of the changes include no longer needing to verify your domain or select a conversion domain when advertising. There are heaps more happening with this and some uncertainty in the future, so we’ll be sure to keep you updated as we find out more.
TikTok and CapCut Working Hand in Hand
TikTok is pushing CapCut features more than ever, with two new features only available in CapCut. The new features include ‘Text Templates’ and ‘Motion Blur’. If you haven’t used CapCut yet, you’ll likely need to in the future to be able to use TikTok’s latest features. Opened by the same parent company, this isn’t a huge surprise but is a big step forward in making CapCut essential to TikTok.

The Latest Instagram Tests
What would a week be without a few Instagram tests? The latest are:

- New transparency notifications to help you understand if your reach will be limited due to a watermark on your Reel
Never Have to Rewatch an Entire Reel Again (Unless You Want To)
Instagram has rolled out a scrubber on Reels so that you can rewind or fast-forward! It is only available on Reels longer than 10 seconds on iOS and 15 seconds on Andriod.
That’s a wrap for this week! We can’t wait to hear your takes on these updates. Share your thoughts and let us know which ones have you feeling excited or feeling a bit meh. Stay tuned for more epic digital updates coming your way next week.
