Wanna know how we never run out of content ideas despite our years of posting consistently to the ‘gram? Social media can be a time consuming part of running a biz! Unless you know how to do it effectively.
It’s actually super simple and can save you a HEAP of time and stress. We’ve put together our top 5 tips for repurposing your content (guess what we’ve repurposed this from 😉).
Refresh & re-purpose past top performing posts
Wanna know which of your past posts performed the best? We gotchu.
Head to your Instagram Profile > Select the Hamburger Menu at the top right > Hit ‘Insights’ > Hit ‘Posts’ > and you’ll be able to look at the top-performing posts for a range of different factors (Reach, Comments, Post Interactions, etc.).
Have a think about how you can re-do the post. For example, if it’s a post breaking down some of the most confusing lingo used in your industry, you can think of some new words and redo the post!
Turn a juicy tip from a blog into a post
Blogs are like an endless source of content! If you’re regularly posting on your blog, you can create multiple social media posts taking small excerpts from the blog!
You can even direct readers to head to your blog for more info, driving more web traffic for your biz. Now that’s what we call killing two birds with one stone!
Create a Reel using a collection of throwback photos/videos
Dig into your collection of photos and share a fun Reel! Most followers love Behind the Scenes content, so it’s great to share what’s going on in your biz or share a little throwback Reel when you’re looking for content ideas.
Take a fun piece of info about you from your website as a fun fact
There’s no need to get complicated with it!
You know that tab you have on your website where you talk about yourself & what you’re brand is all about? Share a little snippet on socials and give new followers the chance to get to know you!
Answer a FAQ you get in your DM’s all the time!
Have a think about the questions people are always asking you. It could be asking for your pricing list, how to book a workshop, use your product, or anything else.
Now turn this into a super-simple social media post! This will make it easier for customers to find the info and will help you reduce the amount of time spent answering DM’s. It’s a win-win!
That should help get those creative juices flowing.
